Recruiting & Retention Officer
The Recruiting & Retention Officer serves as the unit's focal point for inspiring prospective members to join Civil Air Patrol. As the principal officer overseeing retention programming, the Recruiting & Retention Officer works closely with the unit Activities Officer and Public Affairs Officer to facilitate and market Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) programs to sustain member morale.
Responsibilities
- Implementing the unit's Recruiting & Retention (RECREN) program
- Providing a focal point for prospective members interested in joining Civil Air Patrol
- Screening prospective members for advanced promotion eligibility and/or preferred qualifications for desired duty positions
- Sustaining member morale through Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) activities
