Overview

The Information Technology Officer provides support for the unit's IT infrastructure and web-based systems. 

Reports to

Communications Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide unit members with technical support for CAP-owned/managed IT systems

• Ensure the provision of email access (i.e., Google Mail) in accordance with Ohio Wing's processes

• Assist the Deputy Commander and other staff members in the maintenance of electronic/web-based systems, shared drives (i.e., Google Drive), and personnel file management and recordkeeping systems

• Ensure the Operational Security (OPSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) of CAP assets assigned to the unit, to include performing appropriate IT updates and required maintenance 

• Support the unit's implementation of Cyber education programming
