Deputy Commander

The Deputy Commander is the senior executive officer of the unit's administrative and support staff. 

Reports to

Squadron Commander

Responsibilities

• Executive oversight of the unit's Senior Detachment

• Implementation of the unit Commander's vision and intent through administrative and support programs

• Advising the Commander on matters related to senior member issues and needs

• Ensuring the unit's compliance with Civil Air Patrol directives and those of Higher Headquarters

• Backup to the Commander during leave of absence or incapacitation
