Deputy Commander for Cadets

Captain Michael N. Evanich

Biography

Capt Evanich joined Civil Air Patrol in October 2016 with his first assignments as Information Technology Officer and Personnel Officer. In August 2017, Capt Evanich was appointed as the Cadet Detachment's Leadership Education Officer. As Coach of the unit's CyberPatriot Competition Team, Capt Evanich was appointed as Cyber Officer in August 2019. He became the unit's Assistant Deputy Commander for Cadets in February 2021 and was appointed as Deputy Commander for Cadets in June 2021. Capt Evanich holds qualifications as an Airborne Photographer, Mission Observer, Mission Scanner, and Ground Team Member (Level 3). 

Capt Evanich is a native of Parma, Ohio and is a 2012 graduate of Cleveland State University, holding a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems. He completed his graduate studied at Cleveland State University in 2015 with a Master of Business Administration.
