AS3 Aerospace Education
The squadron AS3 serves as the cadet-in-charge over the Cadet Detachments aerospace-related training and activities. The AS3 works under the direction of the S3 to assist in the coordination of aerospace training curricula within the Cadet Detachment's programmed agenda.
Responsibilities
- Coordination of aerospace/STEM-related classes and activities
- Facilitation of related subject matter, in assistance to the unit's Aerospace Education Officer
- Mentoring cadets who struggle in their aerospace progression in relation to promotion criteria (i.e., testing)
- Advisor and liaison for the unit's StellarXplorers Competition team
